Honda crx del solThe Honda Civic CRX del Sol is a two-seater with front engine, front drive, targa convertible manufactured by Honda in the 1990's. CRX-based platform, the Sun was the successor of the popular Honda CR-X. He made his debut in 1992 in Japan and the United Kingdom and the United States in 1993.
The Spanish name del Sol is reflected by the sun and refers to the car roof. It was not a convertible, complete with a removable hardtop, kept in the trunk and a retractable rear window for a convertible "feel" (known as the Targa top). Trunk space was reduced to 8 .3 cf 10.5cf while the Targa was tidy.

In many markets the CR-X naming convention was dropped from the line of the Rising, was clearly different from that of previous models, which are sedans and Targa. From 1995 models, Honda dropped the 'society' del Sol, in the name of America. In Europe Del Sol tag was abandoned in 1995, and the car was known as a new CRX.
Production and sales ended in the model 1997 in the U.S. and elsewhere in 1998, for a total of just under 75 000 sold in America. Cars replaced high-performance S2000 roadster in 1999, although it was published in 2000 a model in the United States and Canada.
